A very good end of season sportive not to be missed

A warning sign on that last right hand hairpin turn. I came in to fast to stop.

Outstanding route - challenging and peaceful with breathtaking scenery. Very little cars

Loved everything about it. Would have loved the option to buy a pastry at the start line with the coffee as opposed to just a savoury bap. Could you get a local to sell croissants, danish pastries, pain au chocolates? would have gone down a storm just pre-ride. Loved the pits stops. Outstanding range of supplies to keep us going. Would have loved some salad with the veggie burger at the end! Music at the start line was Geoff Buckley - Bit sad!! Could have done with that being a more upbeat playlist...

Excellent and well organised event

Would be nice to have some mile markers to help through the more challenging parts!

Without the hills you just don't get the views!

Lots of challenging hills, all doable as long as you keep your head down and just put one pedal in front of the other! Without the hills you just don't get the views. Welcome to Herefordshire, our beautiful County.

Beautiful scenery but no butty bach

There needs to be more toilets at the start and a proper pint at the end would have rounded things off nicely. Apart from that, a great event and lovely course.

Organiser comment:

Hi Jacob, There is a bar open at the finish for a proper pint. Thanks for the review.

It’s my 2nd sportive with you

Routes were well indicated, beautiful scenery, and lovely lanes. Hills nearly killed me though

Nice sportive, quite hilly

There were two sations, both well stocked with food and drinks, but it would have been great to have coffee available, caffine for climbing, would gladly have paid for it, for a charity or anything similar.
good event tho

Lovely scenery - awesome route

Loved the ride (Full Pint). It was very subtle about beating you up on the many, many ups. 1350m ascent over 86km is pretty decent elevation gain. Incredible descent after Malvern climb!
BBQ was a tad disappointing. My partner couldn't have the veggie burger because it was cooked on the same plate as the meat burgers - in the meat fat! - that needs to be sorted. Also nowhere near enough seating and I can guarantee you would get more staying for the BBQ if they could find somewhere to sit down. The same applies to buying a pint - nowhere to sit at all.
I had a great ride though. Thank you.

Organiser comment:

Thanks for the review. We'll definitely sort the seating for next year. It's tough to get everything spot on - the limiting factor is that the venue ran out of chairs and tables.

Excellent!

Well organised, well sign posted, fantastic traffic free roads, needs a degree of bike fitness to enjoy and finally a great way to finish the ride with a free beer with very reasonably priced got food!
