Half Pint : Good route. Couple of hills to remind you you're alive!
Good event. Straightforward route. Hills ok but you need to work up them.

Enjoyable ride
I loved the savoury snack at the second stop of the full pint. If you could share the recipe that would be awesome!
The wrap free energy bars were also ok.

Enjoyable route
Overall very good, well organised and an interesting and enjoyable route. A few points
You need to sort out the toilet facilities at the brewery. Bring in some portaloos if you have to.
It would be a great gesture to make the coffee and tea free rather than charging £1.
Starting on the slope is especially difficult when you have to clip in. It would be better to bring groups of 20-30 forward at a time and start them on the flat.
Great route and scenery, food stations could be better
It's a great route and the start organization (including parking was great).
I did think though that charging a £1 for a cup of hot water and tea bag / spoon of coffee was a bit much - surely that can be included in the entrance fee and it would be such a nice touch "free tea/coffee at the start".
Also specifically the first feed station was not well stocked - need a great selection of cakes, etc. It's not too expensive to bulk buy these items to make the feed station much better
On a better note, thank you for the bottle of beer at the end. But you missed a trick, if you let participants go in to the shop to collect the bottle - they would end up buying while in the shop......
Thanks for your review.

Lovely route
Overall a great sportive. My first one for a few years. A nice social group! Just a few of my notes below.
Nice bbq to end up with and not horrendously priced!
Got lost once - signage wasn’t obvious, but generally good. Mix of colours of white and orange made it even trickier. But adequate for relatively small size of group. I didn’t get to see the map online prior to the race. I don’t have a gpx viewer and all my devices (iPhone, Mac etc) would all come back with an error when viewing online - so perhaps it’s worth considering using different applets for the maps on the website.
Many other sportives I’ve been on for the same price usually had freebies such as buffs, chain oil samples etc. freebies! Could be a nice way to get your name sponsored perhaps?
It would have been nice (for me) to get a tea or coffee (or any caffeine) at the first refreshment stop.
Minor points overall, I look forward to doing this one - and many others next year!
Thank you organisers.

Well organised, good pre-event info, well sign-posted route.
Tannoy was bit difficult to hear, but the important stuff was repeated for each group setting off.
I wonder if the 1st feed stop with all the riders attending could have 2 attendants to give each other moral support.

Hilly and Windy!

Grand day out with my mate

Lovely route with a beer at the end
Feed stations provisions were a little basic for this price.
Thanks for your review. Our feedstops provide homemade savoury muffins, OTG wrapper free oaty bars, Jelly babies, bannas, energy powder. It would be great to know what else you would like to see so we can improve?

Fabulous morning - Thanks Toby!
Shame the brewery were not selling beer. Onions with the burgers!

Great sportiv in a fab location
Great ride in a beautiful part of the world. Mostly quiet lanes but quite a few potholes along the route Be careful. Only downside poor catering before and after the event. The addition of a burger van and coffee bar would give it 5 stars
thanks for the review. We do offer tea and coffee beofre and afterwards and put on a BBQ with burgers from the village butcher as well as buns from the local bakery.

Very scenic
Couldn’t hear the PA system at the start. Otherwise a great event

Great Sportive!

Friendly and well organised
Route was well selected to avoid most traffic whilst incorporating beautiful scenery. Good signage. Friendly and relaxed vibes. Starting on a small hill was a little bit awkward - perhaps could do with a pen to start people in batches. Thoroughly enjoyed
